Sirloin Steaks with Homemade Peppercorn Marinade

Sirloin Steaks with Homemade Peppercorn Marinade
Juicy Sirloin Steaks with Homemade Peppercorn Marinade ~
There is peppery goodness running all through that steak.
Y’all know I’m from Texas (surely the “y’all” proves it, right?) and here in Texas, we love our beef.  Really, really, loooove our beef.  I’ve never been a fancy schmancy steak kinda gal (unless someone else is paying) and for the last several years, sirloin has been my go-to cut of steak.  It doesn't have the most flavor on its own but fortunately, it never met a marinade that it didn't like, including this one.  The peppercorns give it just the right amount of spice and the rest of the bits give it the perfect savory, umami taste.   Add in some Twice Baked Potatoes and a salad and reap in the kudos.

Peppercorn Marinade

½ cup soy sauce
¼ red wine vinegar
3 Tablespoons olive oil
5 garlic cloves, chopped into large pieces
2 Teaspoon cracked black pepper
2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Mix all the ingredients together and place in a large ziptop bag.  Add the steak(s) of your choice and seal tightly.  Place the bag into a dish large enough to allow it to lie flat and place in the fridge.  This should marinate for at least 2 hours, the max being 24.  Turn halfway through your preferred marinating time.

Grill/cook to your liking.  Gobble it up.
